2015 Dodge Barracuda SRT Price Release Date

2015 Dodge Barracuda – A new luxury sports couple car is planned to be release by Dodge company. The car is named as 2015 Dodge Barracuda SRT. This new car is expected to bring some betterments, including less weight and more powertrains. The 2015 Dodge Barracuda will keep the SRT (Street and racing Technology). We can say that the 2015 Dodge Barracuda is the replacement version for Dodge Challenger.

The new Dodge Barracuda 2015 has been redesigned fitting today’s need trends. The Dodge 2015 Barracuda has smaller and lighter platform. Finally, the last option, a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi motor which provides astonishing 600 hp. The engines, along with the great power, will also offer a better fuel emission. The transmission will be double-clutch automatic with six or seven gears. It should have a rear-wheel drive.

PDD DODGE RAM Transmission Throttle Pressure Adjustment Procedure Manual

DODGE RAM Transmission Throttle Pressure Adjustment Procedure Manual. My intention here is to show Dodge Ram truck owners with the automatic transmission how to properly adjust the shift points of their transmission. These pictures are from my 1999 Ram 1500 with the 5.9 liter V-8 engine. When I bought my truck, I quickly decided I didn’t like the factory set shift points. It shifted too soon under light and medium throttle…and passing gear/kickdown required a lot of gas pedal to achieve. My desire was to have the 1-2 shift and the 2-3 shift occur at a higher road speed/ engine rpm and to have a more sensitive kickdown. In my case, this was accomplished by adjusting the transmission throttle pressure cable only 1/4″ (0.25 inches). What is the throttle pressure cable? Between the throttle linkage and the driver’s side of the transmission there is a cable that causes a valve inside the transmission to move in relation to throttle position (gas pedal position). This cable is also referred to as the Throttle Valve (T.V.) cable. What does it do? The T.V. cable moves the throttle valve in the transmission…..which in turn controls THREE things: 1) the transmission line pressure and 2) the transmission shift timing and 3) the transmission kickdown (or passing gear). Many people mistakenly believe it only performs function number three.

Dodge Magnum Adjusting the idle Instruction manual. The idle is set in the PCM by a idle target parameter. Installing a newer throttle body or cam cam change what the PCM needs to see to stop surging or erratic idles. The picture above is a stock plug in a stock throttle body, to adjust the throttle plates angle, this plug needs to be removed. On the Flometrics throttle bodies (right), all you need is a Allen wrench to adjust. Note: some of the Flometric TB’s have double set screws in the throttle shaft adjustment. To set the throttle plates correctly, the vehicle needs to be warmed up for at least 5 minutes to ensure it is in closed loop. Once done, the IAC port (shown below, left) needs to be blocked off with your thumb, then turn the adjustment screw clockwise to open the plates, counterclockwise to close them, until the rpm sits at 800 rpm steady. Remove your thumb from the IAC port and the idle will climb up and then return back down to norm. You have just set your IAC count to 30-60 counts. This is a good number for the IAC to sit at without having to swing wide to recover from extreme idle conditions such as braking or WOT.
