Sony has initiated its own smartphone tracking service called My Xperia, enabling you to monitor the whereabouts of you handset when its lost or stolen.


The service was launched in beta earlier in the year, but only for Nordic countries. Now Sony has announced on its official blog that My Xperia is rolling out worldwide over the next few weeks.

My Xperia is described as a "remote security app" that can protect your personal data as well as tracking your phone.

Users of Sony Xperia devices from 2012 or 2013 can access the service by signing into myxperia.sonymobile.com with your Google ID.

From the central interface that you encounter here, you can do a number of things. For one, you can remotely sound an alert on your phone, ignoring silent mode and waking the screen from sleep.

You can also locate your phone on a map, lock it to keep your personal data safe an ping the phone a message with contact details, should it simply be lost.

The most drastic thing you can do with this new My Xperia tool, though, is to remotely wipe  the data stored on your phone and SD card.

My Xperia is essentially a belated answer to Apples own Find My iPhone service, which launched three years ago.

Google has yet to provide its own equivalent service for the Android platform, though there are a number of third party apps on the Google Play Store that do the same thing, such as Lookout Security & Antivirus and Avasts similar Mobile Security & Antivirus.

Position the vehicle with the road wheel tires on the rails, and the rail wheel flanges positioned centrally above the railhead. Backing into position is usually easier. 3. Put the vehicle’s transmission into park or neutral. Set the parking brake. 4. Engage the PTO hydraulic pump or start the auxiliary hydraulic power source. 5. The rear will be placed on rail first. a. Raise the rail gear up a bit to relieve the pressure on the lock hook. b. Pull the T-handle for the lock to swing the hook out of the way. c. Lower the rail gear into position on the rail. d. Release the T-handle for the lock. 6. Check the alignment of the front rail wheels with the track – it might be necessary to adjust the position of the vehicle. 7. The front rail gear will now be lowered. a. Raise the rail gear up a bit to relieve the pressure on the pin lock. b. Remove the both pins from the upper holes. c. Lower the rail gear. d. Install the lock pins in the lower holes. 8. Engage the steering lock. 9. Drive the vehicle forward and backward a few yards to check vehicle’s operation and brakes. 10. Vehicle is now ready for rail travel.

2004 SUBARU FORESTER LIGHTING SYSTEM SERVICE MANUAL. Before removing and installing parts, always disconnect the battery ground cable. When replacing audio, control module, and other parts provided with memory functions, record memory contents before disconnecting the battery ground cable. Measure the tail and illumination relay resistance between terminals when connecting terminal No. 4 to battery positive terminal and terminal No. 3 to battery ground terminal. Connect the battery and the turn signal light bulb to module, as shown in the figure. The module is properly functioning if it blinks when power is supplied to the circuit.

CHARGING SYSTEM GENERAL INFORMATION 4 110003684 The charging system is a system which charges the battery with the generator output to keep the battery charged at a constant level during varying electrical load. Rotation of the excited field coil generates AC voltage in the stator. This alternating current is rectified through diodes to DC voltage having a waveform shown in the illustration at left. The average output voltage fluctuates slightly with the generator load condition. When the ignition switch is turned on, current flows in the field coil and initial excitation of the field coil occurs. When the stator coil begins to generate power after the engine is started, the field coil is excited by the output current of the stator coil. The generator output voltage rises as the field current increases and it falls as the field current decreases. When the battery voltage (generator S terminal voltage) reaches a regulated voltage of approx. 14.4V, the field current is cut off. When the battery voltage drops below the regulated voltage, the voltage regulator regulates the output voltage to a constant level by controlling the field current. In addition, when the field current is constant, the generator output voltage rises as the engine speed increases .

Caterpillar 3126B HEUI Engines Service Manual. The Caterpillar 3126B HEUI Engine introduces a new era of the diesel engine in the bus industry using the medium duty diesel engine. The basic engine takes advantage of the 3116′s best features and years of experience and combines this with an electronically controlled fuel system, larger displacement, and other new features to produce the 3126B. The fuel delivery system is controlled entirely by the Electronic Control Module, hereafter called the ECM. The actual delivery of the fuel into the combustion chambers is accomplished by the Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injector system (HEUI), which will be discussed later. The ECM will identify short/open sensors or operating conditions out of the normal range. It will alert the driver/mechanic through the use of failure codes that are displayed on the dash. At this point be advised that all subjects related to the operation and maintenance of the engine are covered in the 3100 HEUI manual provided with the chassis manual. Therefore no attempt is made herein to cover engine repairs. Service and operating instructions found in the Caterpillar manuals should be followed. When in need of information concerning the engine, contact your local Caterpillar dealer or distributor who is fully qualified and capable of handling all engine warranty and service repairs. The ECM controls its various functions through signals from the
following sensors:

The ECM provides total electronic control of the start and duration of fuel injection. Data furnished by the sensors enable the ECM to control the fuel injected into each cylinder, which optimizes performance related to Normal and Cold weather starting, warm up, emissions, noise, fuel economy, and driveability. Top Engine Limit The ECM controls the top rpm of the engine, which is 2640 set at the factory, by limiting the fuel to the injectors. The engine does not have a mechanical governor. Start-Up and Emission Control White smoke is reduced by controlling injection timing and delivery during cold operation and acceleration. The ECM uses various sensor inputs to calculate timing and delivery that will not produce smoke.

Disconnect Cooler Refrigerant Suction Hose No. 1. A. Install the SST to the piping clamp. SST: 09870-00015 HINT: Confirm the direction of the piping clamp claw and the SST using the illustration shown on the caution label. B. Push down the SST and release the clamp lock. NOTE: Be careful not to deform the tube when pushing the SST. C. Pull the SST slightly and push the release lever. Then remove the piping clamp with the SST. D. Remove the piping clamp from the SST. E. Disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction hose No. 1. NOTE: Disconnect the tube by hand only. Do not pry the tube apart. Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

Honda ACCORD 2002 Timing Belt and Balancer Belt Installation Service Repair Manual. Align the dimple (A) on the tooth of the timing belt drive pulley with the pointer (B) on the oil pump. 4. Honda ACCORD 2002 Clean the camshaft pulley and set it to TDC. 5. Install the timing belt in a counterclockwise sequence, starting with the drive pulley. -1 The ”UP” mark (A) on the camshaft pulley should be at the top. -2 Align the TDC grooves (B) on the pulley with the top edge of the head. -1 Drive pulley (A). -2 Tensioner pulley (B). -3 Water pump pulley (C). -4 Camshaft pulley (D). 6. Loosen and retighten the adjusting nut to tension the timing belt. 7. Clean any oil off both faces of the balancer belt drive pulley. 8. Check the lower cover rubber seal for cracks and other damage. NOTE: ?If the rubber seal is coming off, apply liquid gasket to the lower cover and reinstall the rubber seal. Wipe off any liquid gasket that is pressed out. ?When replacing the rubber seal, clean the lower cover groove, cut the repair rubber seal to length, and put the rubber seal into the groove evenly. 9. Install the balancer belt drive pulley and the lower cover. 10. Temporarly install the crankshaft pulley and bolt. 11. Rotate the crankshaft pulley five or six turns counterclockwise to seat the timing belt on the pulleys. 14. Check the camshaft pulley marks. ?If the camshaft pulley marks are also at TDC, go to step 15. ?If the camshaft pulley marks are not at TDC, remove the timing belt and repeat steps 3, 4 and 5. 15. Remove the crankshaft pulley and the lower cover.
